DC United keeper Bill Hamid and midfielder Luciano Acosta are on the ballot for the Landon Donovan Most Valuable Player Award for 2017.
Hamid has posted six shutouts this season and with 98 saves in the 24 games he’s manned the nets, he could easily end the season with the most saves.
Acosta, a member of the MLS’ best 24 under 24 lists for the second year in a row, continues to make a name for himself as a threat in the midfield with four assists and five goals.
