Diamond Stone has been released by the Chicago Bulls.
This is the third team that Stone has been a part of in his short NBA career. He was originally drafted in the second round by the L.A. Clippers but got minimal playing time and was eventually traded to the Atlanta Hawks. He was waived after about 4 weeks.
He signed with the Bulls in September, but this cut will probably mean we will not see the former Maryland big-man on an NBA roster when the season starts.
